SHAH ALAM, 13 Apr: PKR criticises the death penalty by the Bangladesh Government against the Secretary-General of the Jamaat-e-Islami party, Muhammad Kamaruzzaman, as it is cruel and unjust.
PKR President, Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, said that PKR received the bad news and expressed disappointment when they received information that the opposition leader was sentenced last night.
Wan Azizah said that PKR advises for the Islamic party members to pray in solidarity for the late leader.
“May Allah place his soul among the faithful. Al-fatihah,” said Wan Azizah in a statement.
