Permatang Pauh crowded, CM rides a motorcycle to the polling station

PERMATANG PAUH, 7 May: The roads in Permatang Pauh were terribly congested today due to the by-election.

The Chief Minister’s Political Secretary, Shuhaimu Shafiei, said that the congestion caused the Selangor Chief Minister, Mohamed Azmin Ali, to ride a motorcycle to move from one polling station to another.

“The Chief Minister rode a motorcycle from the Permatang Rawa school. Now, he is heading to Sungai Due on a motorcycle,” said Shuhaimi when contacted by Selangor Kini today.

In another development, the Election Commission (EC) reported that a turnout of 24,042 or 33.44 percent of voters came out to vote as of 11 am today.

Commenting on the turnout, Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah called on Permatang Pauh voters to carry out their responsibility.
