Azmin: No need to force me to be mixed in this ‘child’s game’

KUALA LUMPUR, 10 June: The Chief Minister of Selangor, Mohamed Azmin Ali, asked DAP and PAS to not force him to intervene in the crisis between these parties which he describes as a ‘child’s game’.

He said this when commenting on the insistence of the Selangor DAP Chairman, Tony Pua, who asked him to choose between PAS and the party yesterday.

“I said it yesterday. Do not force me into this children’s game. PKR’s role is to strengthen Pakatan Rakyat (PR).

“We must meet the aspirations of the people, including Selangor,” he said, taken from The Malaysian Insider.

Speaking to the media at the Parliament lobby when asked about the party that will be chosen, the PKR Deputy President only said that he will choose what the people wants.

“We carry the people’s trust. We will only make a choose when they choose because that is my responsibility,” he said.

Pua’s insistence was following the decision of PAS in its conference where the motion was passed to severe ties with DAP.

Although the motion by the Ulama Council decided to severe ties with DAP, it will continue relations with PKR and Pakatan.
