SHAH ALAM, 17 June: The Visit Selangor Year 2015 received response to be proud of with the presence of tourists at strategic, stable and popular locations.

The Tourism Selangor Manager of Public Relations, Communications and Marketing, Nazri tashriq Rahmat, said that the attractive locations in the states include Sunway Lagoon, I-City Shah Alam and the Sepang International Circuit are places to be visited because various facilities are available.

“The locations include the National Zoo and the Shah Alam Gallery which provides transport and good access. It is also a major destination for travel agencies who bring in groups of tourists from within and outside the country.

“It also provides good facilities such as shopping places, ample parking and near attractive areas,” he told Selangor Kini.

Nazri said that tourist locations are also used as locations for tourism and local sports events, as well as international events such as concerts, festivals and racing.

He said that the factors that help the locations continue to be a location of choice because it has the capacity for the organisation of tourism events.

“The locations stated constantly renew its appeal such as Sunway lagoon which is now in the process of building additional theme parks that have Nickelodeon popular cartoon characters and the National has a new attraction, a pair of pandas from China.

“The five tourist sites also have a advertisement midium that is large and there are many publicity events being organised to provide exposure to the people from within and outside the country,” she said.
