SHAH ALAM, 1 June: Prizes worth over RM6,000 await participants in the MPSJ 2015 Fishing Carnival that will be held on Sunday at the Puchong Perdana Lake Park, Puchong.
The carnival organised by the Subang Jaya Municipal Council (MPSJ) in collaboration with the Seri Serdang Assemblyman’s Office is scheduled to take place from 8 am to 5 pm and also received sponsorship from Al-Meswak Mu-min Sdn Bhd and F&N Beverages Marketing Sdn Bhd.
The winner will take home a cash prize of RM3,000; RM1,500 for second prize and RM1,000 for third prize. For fourth and fifth position, the winners will received RM200, RM100 for sixth to eighth and RM50 from ninth to 15th.
An entry fee of RM50 per person will be charged and the entry forms are available at the MPSJ Community Development Department or at the Puchong Indah MPSJ Multipurpose Hall.
Various side events will also be held such as colouring contests, sports competitions, carom, tug-of-war, and aji, sepak raga and the birthday celebration of senior citizens in the area of the Seri Serdang Assemblyman.
