Some places in Sabah suffered tremors at 7.15 this morning.
The areas affected are Kota Kinabalu, Beaufort, Mambakut, Ranau, Tuaran and Kota Belud.
According to a report, the tremor measured 6.0 on the Richter scale.
The tremor was centered in Borneo with a depth of 10 kilometres, 25 km northwest of Ranau Sabah.
Bernama reported that the students and staff of University Malaysia Sabah reportedly left the building to escape shortly after the tremors.
