SHAH ALAM, 25 Aug: The Shah Alam MP, Khalid Samad, will write to the Ministry of Health (MOH) to hold a meeting to obtain information regarding the latest developments of the Shah Alam Hospital.
According to him, it is too early to provide a statement on the construction structure and he expects for there to be no problems and hopes for enough staff members to begin operations.
“I have sent a letter previously to make a visit, but still no answer.
“I found it strange that it is still shrouded in secrecy. The key handover is shrouded in secrecy. This matter should not be politicised,” he told reporters during a media conference at his office.
The Shah Alam Hospital is understood to accommodate 300 beds and is expected to be operational next year.
Prior to that, the construction of the hospital has been long delayed, causing hardships for the people of Shah Alam to obtain treatment and they had to go to the Tunku Ampuan Rahimah Hospital (HTAR) in Klang.
