PORT KLANG, 4 Oct: The complete acquisition of the water management will be carried out after the State Government Meeting Councillors are given the last briefing and it will officially take place on October 15.
The Chief Minister, Mohamed Azmin Ali, said that the state government will also focus on several technical issues to ensure that there is sufficient clean water supply in Malaysia for the needs of consumers and investors in the country.
“I have given assurance to investors that this is a priority when the state government takes over Puncak Niaga and Syabas. We will ensure that there is sufficient water supply, especially when the Mitigation 2 project is completed,” he said yesterday.
Mohamed Azmin said that the state government will continue to provide full cooperation to ensure that the Langat 2 project can be completed on schedule and announced a plan in the Budget 2016 to ensure sufficient water supply in Selangor.
