RM1.8 million road upgrade completed and can be used

SUBANG JAYA, 9 Oct: The infrastructural facilities in Jalan Subang Permai, Jalan Subang 2 and Subang 3 can now be used by the public after the upgrade was fully completed.

The Subang Jaya Assemblyman, Hannah Yeoh, said that the cost of upgrading amounted to RM1.8 million and was carried out by Regina Development Sdn Bhd.

Among the facilities upgraded included the bridge connecting Jalan Subang 2 with Jalan Subang Permai, 13 additional street lights in Jalan Subang 3 and the upgrading of street lights at Jalan Sungai Permai.

This also includes the resurfacing of the road from the Jalan Subang 3 roundabout to Persiaran Subang and Jalan Subang Permai, the construction of the handrail and the pedestrian walk in Jalan Subang Permai, and fixing the curb along Jalan Subang Permai and Jalan Subang 3.

“The construction of this bridge can save time and reduce congestion, especially during peak hours. Users can use the bridge connecting the road to directly exit to the road near Mydin Mall and Giant.

“With the construction of houses, developers must provide other infrastructural facilities as contained in the planning permission,” she told reporters after launching the bridge.

Hannah said that the construction and the upgrading is also important because the Subang Jaya Municipal Council (MPSJ) Sports Centre is nearby.

“A condominium is built in this area. Therefore, I thank the developers for meeting the requirements set by MPSJ to reduce traffic congestion and to provide comfort to the people,” she said.
