SHAH ALAM, 17 Oct: The University of Selangor (UNISEL) made a name for itself when it because the winners in the Higher Education Institution (IPT) Ping Pong Championship, Circuit 2, 2015, recently.

The success was achieved through a student from the Faculty of Business, Mohamad Hasri Fikri Mohamad Taufik, who managed to qualify for the semifinals in circuit 1 before winning the men’s singles title.

Team manager Mohd Anuar Husin believes that UNISEL can retain the title at the IPT Sports (SUKIPT) 2016 that will take place at the Malaysian University of Technology (UTM) in Skudai, Johor.

“This is a good sign because despite being the first time participating, we are now the champions.

“We hope that this championship can be maintained in the SUKPIT,” he said.

Describing the victory as a morale booster, Mohd Anuar hopes that other students will fight for UNISEL in sports.
