KLANG, 25 SEPT: Two premises were seized during a raid that was carried out on massage parlors by the Department of Municipal Council around Bukit Tinggi here.

MPK Enforcement Department Director Andry Arman Masrom, who led the operation, said five premises were inspected. Some of them had secret doors built in them to allow customers and employees to flee when raided by the authorities.

According to Masrom, some freshly used condoms were found scattered during the raid. He believed these premises were offering sexual services to their customers.

“Among the items seized were mattresses, pillows and curtains. Stern actions will be taken under the By-Laws (UUK) 3, Beauty and Health Care Centre MPK 2007, for unlicensed operations.

“Such raids like today will continue from time to time to ensure that there will be no further violation of the law, particularly by massage parlors,” he said.

Andry said these massage parlors were believed to have offer three packages to their customers, including prostate massages, B2B and sexual services, which all cost around RM135 to RM168.

According to him, VRP will not make any compromises with any parties that violate the law. The council welcomes any information from the public for the purpose of prevention.
