SUBANG JAYA, 19 SEPT: Three videos featuring chaos during the 13th General Election (GE-13) at the Tapah Parliament on 5 May was watched today at the People’s Tribunal.
The videos of three to five minutes were submitted by the PKR candidate for the Parliament, K Vasantha Kumar, during today’s session.
It displayed force by the Federal Reserve Police (FRU) when dispersing Vasantha’s supporters who questioned the presence of a dubious ballot box.
The video also highlighted the Tapah Parliament PKR candidate with his supporters being pushed out of the counting centre.
“I asked to enter the counting centre, but only was allowed to enter at 1am, after the vote counting process ended,” said Vasantha who asked the police to explain the ban but was not entertained.
In the GE-13, Vasantha lost to BN candidate, Datuk M Saravanan by a majority of 7,927 votes.
