5 Years of Credibility, Abdul Khalid Believes that PKR Members Will Give Support

SHAH ALAM, 30 Mar: The Chief Minister of Selangor, Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim, stressed that members of Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) need not have to worry because he can be trusted and that is his advantage as a candidate for Deputy President of the party.

Abdul Khalid said that he believes all members will provide support with the credibility shown by him over the past five years.

“They can trust me. We need to be trusted by the people for change.

“One of the things I mentioned here is after five years, we have adopted the concept of reform for integrity,” he said when met by Selangor Kini today.

Touching on the six-cornered contest for the position of the Deputy President of PKR, he explained that the party practices the concept of democracy and is open in giving opportunities to anyone to compete.

Abdul Khalid will provide a tough competition to the incumbent, Mohamed Azmin Ali, Tian Chua, Datuk Saifuddin Nasution, S Ramachandran and Murali Subramaniam in the election which will be held in April.
