CM Collaborates with Kelantan, Develops 7 Projects Together

SHAH ALAM, 3 Mar: As the Kajang State Legislative Assembly (DUN) by-election draws near, the Chief Minister of Selangor, who is also the PKR Machinery Director, Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim, managed to visit Kelantan and sign a historic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between two Pakatan Rakyat states to build 7 joint projects.

Quoting The Malaysian Insider, the partnership was entered between the Selangor Menteri Besar Incorporated, the Kelantan Menteri Besar Incorporated and the Kelantan State Economic Development Corporation (PKINK).

The seven projects are; a halal hub, religious education, youth development training, dam construction, Islamic Pawning System or al-rahnu, the development of fiber networks and to set up a collection and marketing centre for Kelantan products in Selangor.

The programme is Abdul Khalid’s first official visit as the Chief Minister of Selangor to Kelantan and to also meet his counterpart, Datuk Ahmad Yakub, and it was also attended by the Executive Councillor in charge of Selangor Education, Higher Learning and Human Capital Development, Dr Halimah Ali and the Kumpulan Perangsang Chairman, Raja Idris Raja Kamarudin.

Abdul Khalid also spent time visiting the PAS Mursyidul Am, who is also the former Chief Minister of Kelantan, Datuk Nik Abdul Nik Mat, at the Pusat Pemikiran Tok Guru located at the Kota Darul Naim Complex in Kota Bharu.
