Chegu Bard: “PKS is my home”

SHAH ALAM, 29 May: The immediate membership suspension of Badrul Hisham Shahrin, or better known as Chegu Bard, yesterday from Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) will not break his spirit to fight together with the party.

“PKR is my house and i will remain. I am confident that PKR is a party for reform and there will certainly be justice,” he said.

He also informed that he is still waiting for an official letter from the party regarding his suspension before commenting further.

He said that the suspension was only found out when many reporters contacted him to confirm the matter.

“There is no pillar that can stop the fight to ensure that democracy does not die.

“The rest, I will wait for the official letter from the party because I have not received any information as I was only informed by friends who are journalists,” he said.

Yesterday, the PKR Disciplinary Board informed that Chegu Bard, also the Chairman of Malaysian Youth Solidarity (SAMM), was suspended until further investigation is carried out on his offence when the election is completed.
