State Tourism working hard for the success of Visit Selangor Year 2015

SHAH ALAM, 9 July: Tourism Selangor will work hard to ensure that the Visit Selangor Year 2015 campaign runs smoothly and will be well received by local and international tourists.

The General Manager of Tourism Selangor, Noorul Ashikin Mohd Din, said that the working of the campaign will begin after the Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration at the end of this month.

“We at Tourism Selangor cannot wait for 2015 to start the campaign to promote Visit Selangor Year 2015. After the Raya, promotional work will begin in full swing to ensure it runs smoothly, thus ensuring the success of Visit Selangor Year 2015.

“We can all be ambassadors of Selangor in the eyes of the world,” she said at the Tourism Selangor Iftar with the Media at the Empire Hotel yesterday.

Noorul Ashikin also mentioned that the role of the media is to promote the variety of interesting destinations in Selangor.

“The role played by all of you is very meaningful to us at Tourism Selangor. We can be contacted at any time to help with what is needed for writing your article on any tourist location in Selangor,” she said.

Meanwhile, an estimate of about 50 people attended the Iftar to celebrate media practitioners, in addition to travel bloggers who regularly write about tourism in Selangor.
