CM sacks all PKR & DAP Exco with immediate effect

SHAH ALAM, 12 Aug: The Chief Minister of Selangor, Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim, sacked all Executive Councillors from Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) and DAP with immediate effect.

All letters of dismissal have been sent to the Exco involved except for the Exco for Welfare and Woman’s Affairs, Rodziah Ismail, who is currently attending a course overseas.

This matter was confirmed by the Chief Minister’s Press Secretary today.

The Exco from DAP who have been sacked are the Exco for Local Government, Studies and Research, Datuk Teng Chang Khim; the Exco for Investment, New Village Development and Legalising Illegal Factories, Ean Yong Hian and the Exco for Plantation Workers, Poverty and Caring Government, Ganabatirau Veraman.

Meanwhile two of the three PKR Exco who have been issued letters of dismissal are the Exco for Tourism, Consumer Affairs and Environment, Elizabeth Wong and the Exco for Health, Entrepreneur Development, Science, Technology and Innovation, Dr Daroyah Alwi.
