Residents should work together to take care of cleanliness

SUBANG JAYA, 23 Oct: Everyone, especially the residents of Pangsapuri SS19/7A, have been asked to take care of the cleanliness of the residential area together, in addition to disposing bulk rubbish without following the rules.

The Neighbourhood Association Chairman, Khairul Azuan Kamaruzan, said that the cooperation is necessary to create a healthy environment in the area.

“With the facilities provided, it is hoped that the residents will use it the right way for the good of all.

“The residents have also been asked to monitor the surroundings to identify those who are disposing rubbish, including foreign nationals,” he said during a media conference after the ceremony to hand over the bulk rubbish bins to the flat management today.

The Assemblywoman for Subang Jaya, Hannah Yeoh, presented five rubbish bins worth RM6,400 during the ceremony.

Maria Azmi, 34, said that the bins should be used as best possible by all residents in the area.

“As a resident, I am pleased with this contribution. I hope that other neighbours will also act the same way.

“We will also work to help where necessary to overcome the waste problem here.

“I am confident that the residents will cooperate to identify those responsible for disposing waste arbitrarily and report it to the authorities,” she said.
