SHAH ALAM, 24 Nov: The state government will increase provisions by 300 percent to ensure that the people in rural areas enjoy more comfortable infrastructure.

“The state government is concerned about the needs of development in rural areas, including traditional villages, especially infrastructure and social development,” said Mohamed Azmin Ali.

He said this when presenting the Selangor Budget 2015 at the Selangor State Assembly (DNS) today.

He explained that the development of infrastructure covers the aspects of reparation and the construction of rural public facilities such as sports facilities and basic rural amenities such as roads, drains and drainage.

Mohamed Azmin said that the state government will also allocate a total of RM4 million to upgrade public facilities such as community halls.
