SHAH ALAM, 16 Dec: The state government invites the public to celebrate the #Selangor15 Festival from 26 to 31 December.
The Exco for Young Generation Development, Sports and Culture, Amirudin Shari, said that it is being organised in conjunction with three important events for the state government.
He said that the events are the celebration of the 2015 New Year, the 100th Day of the Chief Minister’s Administration and the Launch of the Visit Selangor Year 2015.
“The various activities planned include the aspects of arts and culture, sport activities, and a session to introduce the players of the Selangor PA for the Super League 2015.
“Do not miss out on the activities to promote Selangor’s tourism which will be participated by hospitality companies and travel agencies,” he said during a media conference at the SACC Mall today.
Elaborating, Amirudin said that the #Selangor15 Festival will be held at the SACC Mall, the SACC Convention Centre, the Shah Alam PKNS Complex and surrounding areas.
“Every place is selected based on the state government’s inspiration to make Shah Alam a modern City of Arts,” he added.
Among the activities scheduled includes art exhibitions, graffiti competitions, street art and buskers, in addition to the SelangorPlus 5KM Run and the Muay Thai Competition.
The highlight of the #Selangor15 Festival is the launching of the Visit Selangor Year 2015 which will be officiated by the Chief Minister, Mohamed Azmin Ali.
