KUCHING, 1 Mar: The Chief Minister of Selangor, Mohamed Azmin Ali, led the Selangor government delegation to Sarawak for a three-day visit starting today.

The delegation of 12 arrived safely at the Kuching International Airport at exactly 12 noon and was greeted by 30 PKR branches from across Sarawak.

The beating of kompangs, lion dance, silat and Sarawak cultural dance performances welcomed the delegates at the main entrance of the airport.

Also participating in the visit this time are Selangor Exco Dr Daroyah Alwi and the Political Secretary to the Chief Minister, Shuhaimi Shafie.

The delegation is scheduled to meet with the Sarawak State Leadership Council (MPN) at the Grand Continental Hotel Kuching before they head to the Mambong Branch Election Operations Room Opening Ceremony in Sibuan.

On March 2, the delegation is scheduled to visit Miri to officiate the Senadin State Legislative Assembly Election Operations Room and the Sarawak MPN Chinese New Year open house.

Meanwhile, for March 3, the delegation is scheduled to visit the Office of the Sarawak Chief Minister, Datuk Seri Amar Adenan Satem.
