GUAR PERAHU, 30 Apr: PKR candidate Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail was mobbed by voters at the Farmers’ Market when she visited the area yesterday.
Visitors and traders crowded around Wan Azizah, who likes to be affectionately called Kak Wan, to take the opportunity to greet here and take photos.
Various behaviours were seen during the visit when visitors seemingly lined up to shake hands and meet Kak Wan.
Some voters in the area complained when they did not have the opportunity to take pictures with Kak Wan.
“What is this, so many people. Can’t even take a picture,” the individual said while passing through.
Meanwhile, another female voter ran to get Kak Wan.
“Hurry, hurry come and greet, another second and we won’t get to, there are many people,” she said heading towards Kak Wan.
Prior to this, the Barisan Nasional (BN) candidate, Suhaimi Shabudin, was seen at the same market at an event with the Deputy Minister of Agriculture.
However, it is understood that the response he received was not encouraging.
