SUBANG JAYA, 27 Aug: The Subang Jaya Municipal Council (MPSJ) plans to sell three 0.9 acre lots of land at The Mines, Seri Kembangan.

The MPSJ Yang Dipertua (YDP), Datuk Nor Hisham Ahmad Dahlan, said that the proposal was made to enable the purchase of other assets.

“We plan to sell the land to enable the purchase a new home for the YDP, but not for me.

“The purchase is not for a new house but an old one and will be refurbished as it is cheaper so that the new YDP will have an official residence because the old one was sold 15 years ago,” he said.

He said that MPSJ also intends to buy two rest houses in Langkawi through the sale of the land, which is estimated to be almost RM6 million, to provide benefits to its employees.

So far, MPSJ has two rest houses in Cameron Highlands and Port Dickson.
