SHAH ALAM, 23 Sept: Strong support from the Exco and civil servants provides a strong boost to Mohamed Azmin Ali to perform his duties as the Chief Minister.

He said that many bitter and sweet moments in governing the state was felt, including prudent economic management throughout his one year in office.

“Various framework for social and economic development plans were implemented for the people. The state’s total reserves are also strong.

“The deficit budget balanced this year. It is an achievement of working as a team,” he said.

Mohamed Azmin said that it also educates him and his team to always take new proactive steps in line with the global investment hub.

“I am grateful for this year. A lot of experience was gained such as various initiatives being implemented and improved. Thing includes the provision of Affordable Housing (RMM).

“We have provided many things, including a financing scheme for home-buyers who were rejected from obtaining a loan.

“Similarly with the Hijrah Microcredit scheme. We also took many steps to provide educational scholarships to students from low-income families,” he said.
