SHAH ALAM, OCT 12: 54% of social media users chose citizens’ welfare to be the main thrust for the 2018 Selangor Budget.
The survey was conducted through Dato’ Menteri Besar, Dato’ Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali’s official Twitter account, beginning last October 8.
It involved 8,969 Twitter users who made their choices through the survey conducted up until today, October 12 at 11 a.m.
29% of the users chose education ranking it at second place, followed by 9% for local authorities’ services and 8% for health.
Mohamed Azmin will table the 2018 Selangor Budget this November 3.
Prior to this, he had said that the budget will focus on all groups of people through various Inisiatif Peduli Rakyat (IPR) programmes involving all levels.
In fact, he said the State Government will also consider and focus on youth development next year.
