SHAH ALAM, 12 Mar: It has been understood that the MyMassa portal Manager, Zaini Haris, has received another letter of claim from Batu Member of Parliament, Tian Chua following the publication of false news related to the representative concerned.
The MyMassa portal has been charged for broadcasting news stating that Tian Chua insulted the security forces with the words “Komando Mati Katak” (Commando Died In Vain).
Through a statement to the media, he explained that the letter of claim was submitted to Zaini by his lawyer.
Elaborating, the same letter of claim was also submitted to the Manager of the Parpukari Portal, Mohamad Salim Iskandar.
“But since yesterday, news that refers to the defamatory news was withdrawn. With this, I officially retract my letter of claim towards Parpukari.
“In addition to the letter of claim, my lawyer has sent a warning letter to all portal operators that published the same defamatory news.
“These include Gelombang Wangsa Maju, Apple Biru, Kelateloni, Pistol Nakal, Aloqlaloq, Takl with Hand, Flying Kick, and others,” he said.
He said that from now, he will not hesitate to sent letters of summons if the defamatory news is repeated on any portal.
