SHAH ALAM, 17 Apr: The Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) de facto leader, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, said that Karpal Singh was a leader who persistently fought for justice.
“We lost a friend and a tireless fighter for justice, Karpal Singh. We will talk long on the phone at 6.30 in the evening yesterday.
Karpal Singh is a legend!
“We’ve lost a colleague, an indefatigable fighter for justice – the legendary Karpal Singh! Our sincere condolences to the family. RIP,” Anwar said in his Facebook page and twitter.
Meanwhile, quoting Keadilan Daily, the President of PKR, Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah, said that the country lost a warrior to the people.
“To the relatives and the family of the late Karpal Singh, who died in a traffic accident early this morning. A person we know as a fighter for justice who puts himself completely to defend the people.
“May the family courage and patience with expectations. Malaysia has lost a fighter, “he said on the facebook page.
