“PKNS, which will turn 50 on August 1, also intends to make this a corporation and organisation that adopts the system of administrative integrity comprehensively, including implementing the Corporate Integrity System (CIS) in all of its subsidiaries,” he said in a press statement today.

Earlier, PKNS emerged as the first State Economic Development Corporation (PKEN) to sign the CIP on November 14, 2012, which implements the CIS.

At the same time, Ishak said that PKNS will host the Integrity Week, starting from 8 to 15 May, to promote the culture of integrity among corporate employees, customers and the general public.

He said, in addition to increasing consumer and the public’s confidence in PKNS’ practice of integrity and best corporate governance, the move was also taken to encourage business and corporate partnership with organisations from the public and private sectors.

“We hope that this annual programme will foster a working culture that has integrity and create PKNS staff that perform well in carrying out their daily duties.

“The PKNS Integrity Week was first held in 2013, and is part of the long-term learning process to create positive values, as well as governance, which is efficient and has high integrity,” he said.
