KELANA JAYA , 31 MAY : A charity sale was held to assist in collecting funds for the Paralympics athletes team that will be going to compete in Incheon, South Korea was held in Kelana Jaya today.

Participants were able to enjoy purchasing souvenirs and foods at the stalls available during the ‘Charity Sale’, held at the Petaling Jaya City Council Stadium.

Wife of the Chief Minister, Datin Seri Puan Seri Salbiah Tunut also attended to show her support and also to provide motivation for the charity program.

Also present at the program is State EXCO in charge of Women’s Affair, Rodziah Ismail.

Secretary General of Malaysian Paralympics Council, Siti Zaharah Abdul Khalid said the main objective of the program is to raise funds for the Malaysian Paralympics athletes.

She said she would also like to thank all volunteers from the Malaysian Paralympics Council and MBPJ for providing the space and necessary tools for the success of the program.
