Priority of 4 PAS Exco is to serve and work for the welfare of the people

HULU SELANGOR, 16 AUGUST: Four PAS Exco members will stay committed to executing their duties and also assisting the state government in providing the best service for the people of Selangor.

Exco in charge of Housing, Building Management and Urban Development, Iskandar Abdul Samad, said they are currently keeping up with a tight schedule as work load has increased as compared to before.

He also said, this task to serve the people requires responsibility and trustworthiness even when the current state government is undergoing political conflicts.

“There are no issues with the administration of the state government, but it is just that we need more time to meet and discuss in order to provide the best services for the people.”

“It is unfair to drag the people into the conflict and that is why they should continue to benefit from our programmes and services,” he said after launching a Vote Picking for Selangorku Houses under Perbadanan Kemajuan Negeri Selangor (PKNS) here, today.

Iskandar as PAS Selangor Chief also confirmed that PAS is still with Pakatan Rakyat (PR).

“We are part of the state government for the sake of PR and also to avoid the government from changing hands.”

“On the 14th of August, we have also suggested that the local councilors from DAP,PAS and PKR to maintain and was agreed by the chief minister,” he said.

Earlier last week, Chief Minister, Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim fired six Exco members from PKR and DAP after they made a statement informing that they will not work together with him and will obey by party orders.

PAS Exco members were not replaced and continues to attend Exco meetings even after being advised to boycott the weekly meeting by the other former PR Exco members.
