KLANG, 23 Sept: The new Selangor State Government Executive Councillors will take their oath this Friday.

Chief Minister Mohamed Azmin Ali said that the discussion to select the Exco will start as early as this evening and that a decision will be reached no later than Thursday.

“We will hold a discussion this evening to see the composition of the Exco. I will speed it up because His Royal Highness has ordered for this matter to be resolved soon.

“The discussion process has not started and we will inform (about it). The swearing-in ceremony for the State Exco will be held this Friday and the results are subject to discussion,” said Azmin Ali in a press conference at the Balai Tengah Istana Alam Shah, Klang.

He explained that the discussion will be held with leaders of Pakatan Rakyat (PR) component parties and will also include the four existing Exco from PAS.

Azmin said that the issue of Deputy Chief Minister does not exist at the time.
