Giving branded ovens enlivens Pengkalan Kubor by-election

SHAH ALAM, 25 Sept: The presence of dozens of motorcyclist visiting the Pahang Umno House in UPU Kg Ketil and the riders carrying Pensonic ovens raised a lot of suspicion.

The Kelantan PAS Youth Chief, Ahmad Fadhli Shaari, said that they felt suspicious and urged the authorities to investigate.

He fears that giving away ovens was an attempt to bribe voters at Pengkalan Kubor in conjunction with the balloting process for the by-election which is happening today.

“We find the scenario taking place suspicious and we ask for the authorities to conduct an investigation because we suspect that there has been a massive bribe to buy votes for this by-election.

“We condemn this dirty strategy and this is not the first time it has happened,” he said, quoted from the Pengkalan Kubor.Pas.Org official website.

He also said that there are opponents that have used tactics that are displeasing to PAS during the campaign period which ended at 12 pm last night.

“Prior to this, there was sabotage against PAS where certain parties distributed bulletins that were allegedly issued by PAS.

“This is sabotage against PAS and we, the PAS Youth, vehemently condemn this move played by certain parties,” he added.
