Sultan: “Forget past conflicts, focus on developing the state”

KLANG, 26 Sept: The Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah, urged the new Executive Council members who were sworn in to support the Chief Minister, Mohamed Azmin Ali, in carrying out his duties.

The Sultan also thanked Abdul Khalid for successfully carrying out his duties as the Chief Minister properly and maintaining good relations with the Sultan and the Palace.

“Forget past conflicts and focus all expertise and experience in serving the people who have given the mandate,” said Sultan Sharafuddin.

His Royal Highness the Sultan said this at the appointment ceremony for the new state Executive Council here at the Balairong Seri Istana Alam Shah, today.

The Sultan added that the people do not like to live in state that is in chaos.
