The Assistant Office or the MPS Complaints Unit, Norillyana Roslan, said that MPS had already ordered contractors to carry out the cleaning work.

“At first, the MPS garbage trucks could not enter the route because it was blocked by a tent erected causing waste collection in the area to be interrupted.

“The contractor found other options to avoid any unwanted accidents as it is a commercial area and there are many vehicles parked at the roadside,” she told Selangor Kini.

Previously, the area was littered with rubbish causing an unpleasant smell.

In addition to domestic waste, also seen was bulk waste such as furniture, sofas and cupboards.

Any waste complaints can be made via 03-6138 9898 @ 1800 222 677 and email complaints to MPS at [email protected].
