eZakat app to spread mission optimally

SHAH ALAM, 4 Sept: The mission delivery medium by the Selangor Tithe Board (LZS) is being optimised through the introduction of a smartphone application, eZakat.

The LZS Communications General Manager, Norajun Ainun Mohd Hashim, said that the application is being equipped with various facilities and information on tithing for the convenience of the public.

“With the information at your fingertips, this application is equipped with a tithe calculator to facilitate users calculate, about payment methods and get information related to tithing.

“This app will also allow users to access and check their tithing records,” she told Selangor Kini.

Norajun said that the app also introduced the ‘Tithe Recipient Report’ (Lapor Asnaf) that allows the public to provide information if there are individuals or families that need assistance.

She said that users only need to fill in the full details of the individual or family that they want to help along with a photo if available.

“LZS will conduct investigation after receiving full information from the report received.

“This process will take a period of 14 working days,” she said.

eZakat can be downloaded for free at PlayStore for Android devices and Applestore for iOS devices.
